Tom King Wins Winter Challenge

Varsity Rower Tom King has won the 2011 Winter Challenge with a grand total of 55 points, edging out the record set by last year's winner by 3 points. That said, this year's competition was very close with second place Chris Marr finishing with 54 points, an all-time high for a Novice Rower.The workout that put Tom over the top in this challenge, also put the team over the top to reach 1,000,000 meters in the first month of the using the Watermark Logging System.As for the Winter Team Challenge, the Orange dominated the Blues with a finishing total of 254 to 150. This marks the second straight win for the Orange team this season. But with another challenge right around the corner, the Blues do not have to wait long for redemption.
