May 1st, 2011 - Lake Lemon, Indiana
The stage is set for the University of Illinois and Indiana University Men's Teams to meet at Lake Lemon the day after the Mid-American Collegiate Rowing Association Championships. While MACRAs will be the first meeting between the two teams this Spring season, the one-on-one scrimmage the next day will be the true test between these two teams.The day will start with the Men's Novice 8+ racing over the 2000m race course. This will be a showcase of what we can expect in the next few years from both teams. Following the Novice race, the Men's Varsity 8+'s will square off for the top prize - a brand new trophy to be fought for year after year.
