The Illini Women's Crew also earned their first Women's Points Championship, besting 2-Time Winner Chicago by a margin of 9 points. The Men's Crew did yield the Men's Points Championship for the first time to Kansas who won on the strength of their Varsity and Novice 8+'s.The Illini next race at the Mid-American Collegiate Rowing Championships in Ann Arbor, Michigan this coming weekend.
