The members of the Fighting Illini Rowing Club continued the tradition of the Illini Indoor - a 2000m race to show who reigns supreme on the Illini Squad. Beyond bragging rights, the event provides many athletes with the opportunity to valuable race experience while also providing the team with some perspective on how it is doing going into the Spring season.There are seven events - Varsity Men, Novice Men, Lightweight Men, Varsity Women, Novice Women, Lightweight Women, and the marquee event - the Coxswain 1k Race. Winners from each category are awarded hammers to commemorate their victory. The winners are listed below, but for a full race recap, visit the regatta page.
