Illini Finish 2013 Season with 15th Overall Finish

The Fighting Illini managed to take 15th Overall in American Collegiate Rowing Association Championship on May 26th in Gainesville, Georgia - their highest finish in team history, up from 33rd in 2012. The team was lead by the Women's programs (8th Overall Women's) two 5th place finishes in the Novice Women's 8+ and Varsity Women's 4+. The Men's Team (T-23rd Overall Men's) also scored points in both of their entries, with a 4th place finish in the Petite Finals of the Novice Men's 8+ (12th Overall for the event), and 1st in the C-Finals of the Varsity Men's 8+ (17th Overall for the event).The Fighting Illini will again look to improve their standing with hopes of racing in the Varsity 8+'s, Junior Varsity 8+'s, and Novice 8+'s at ACRAs next year.
