This weekend, the team kicked off the fall racing season at the Baird Head of the Rock regatta in Rockford, IL. This marked the first race for the new novice class, and they did not disappoint.Over the day, the Illini fielded eight different 8+, four 4+, and three 2- highlighted by a 3rd place finish of the MN8+ A boat behind the Michigan and Minnesota A boats.After a busy day of racing, the men's team prepares to send two fours to Boston for the Head of the Charles while the rest of the team gets ready for the Chicago Boat Race.Full Results can be found here.
