Today, the Illini traveled up to Chicago State University to compete at the Chicago Indoor Rowing Championships.The event was a massive success for the Illini with individual athletes winning 4 of the 7 events entered and taking home 11 medals.

  • Novice women - 1st, 2nd, 3rd
  • Novice lightweight women - 1st
  • Varsity women - 3rd, 4th
  • Novice men - 1st, 2nd, 4th
  • Novice lightweight men - 2nd
  • Varsity men - 1st, 2nd
  • Varsity lightweight men - 3rd

Additionally, the Illini competed in and won both the men's and women's open challenge relays, taking home top honors at the event and two brand new ergs!Full results can be found here.
